Loose Leaf Tea – Lapsang Souchong

Ingredients: Smoked black tea from Taiwan.

Black tea is the most intensively processed type of tea. The leaves are allowed to fully oxidize, creating their black colour before they are dried, giving black tea more complexity, more astringency and fewer vegetal overtones than are typically found in other teas.

  1. Kel

The type of tea that goes well with savoury food!

  2. Zhu

This is a truly outstanding tea. It is much more subtle than other Lapsang Souchongs, though it still has prominent smokiness.

  3. Claudia

Not the smokiest tea that I have ever had, but if you want a milder tea, this is a good one.

  4. Claudia

When I steep the tea in the water, I could smell its distinctive smell immediately. It is strong, smoky, and rich.

  5. Mei

I think this tea is best if served with a simple tasting meal.
