Black tea is the most intensively processed type of tea. The leaves are allowed to fully oxidize, creating their black colour before they are dried, giving black tea more complexity, more astringency and fewer vegetal overtones than are typically found in other teas. Pu-erh tea is processed differently to other black teas as it undergoes a secondary oxidization and fermentation.

The fragrance of the lemongrass trigger the brain by providing soothing effect. Thought the ginger will make the tea spicy but it is not, which is great for me. For those who don’t prefer spices kind of teas, but enjoy the scent of herbs, this is a good selection. Also, this tea can be a good pair with book of the day.

This tea has a not too strong lemongrass ginger flavour. Nice after dinner.

I love this tea! The lemongrass ginger smell is very strong on opening the package but ends up being quite subtle in flavour once brewed. I’m new to puerh teas and would highly recommend this one to anyone who wants to try it.

This tea has a very unique flavor. Puerh and lemongrass ginger is a rare combination but they accompanied each other greatly. High recommend this tea!
