Black tea is the most intensively processed type of tea. The leaves are allowed to fully oxidize, creating their black colour before they are dried, giving black tea more complexity, more astringency and fewer vegetal overtones than are typically found in other teas.
Get 75g of Chhatrapati Chai loose leaf tea in a reusable canister. Each canister yields approximately 25 to 30 cups of tea.
CHHATRAPATI CHAI black tea
A luxuriously aromatic blend crafted with organic black tea, infused with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and ginger. Traditionally brewed with milk.
Brewing Guide:
Infuse for 3 to 5 minutes in freshly boiled water.
Use Tea Infusers for convenient brewing.
HOT : Use 1 heaped tsp per 250ml.
ICED : Use 2 heaped tsp ( or 1 Gold Scoop ) per 250ml & pour over ice when cool.
COLD BREW: Use 2 heaped tsp ( or 1 Gold Scoop ) per 250ml & infuse in cold water while refrigerated for 4-8 hours.
Remove tea leaves after the recommended infusion duration and enjoy your tea.

This means flushing, frothing, extracting, pouring and enjoying. You prepare this special Chhatrapati Chai Tea like a cappuccino using the portafilter of your machine. The tea blend is the equivalent of espresso powder.
What do you need:
*a portafilter machine
*a milk jug for frothing
*a double cup sieve.
Chai Latte Preparation:
*The Chai Tea blend is filled into the double cup sieve at 16-18 grams and is not tamped.
*The brewing group is then flushed and the portafilter is clamped in place. If a pre-infusion is possible, this should be set to 3-5 seconds to cause the surface of the tea to swell and promote a more even extraction.
*Extract a 100ml tea shot.
*Froth approximately 150 ml of milk and pour into the tea shot.
*Add sweetener if desired and enjoy.
