Green tea is mature tea that has been picked and then pan fired [or steamed] to stop the oxidation process. Because of the very limited oxidation, green tea produces subtle sweetness that offers a bouquet ranging from grassy to floral.
This fruity blooming tea is a rejuvenating, sophisticated choice. Place a tea ball into freshly boiled water and watch as a brilliant globe amaranth blossoms from within superior Mao Feng green tea leaves, revealing two towers of jasmine flowers enriched with lively notes of lychee.
We recommend brewing this green tea in a glass teapot to see the blossom in all its glory. Suitable for a 600ml brew.
Each canister contains 8 tea balls.
Brewing time : 3 -5 minutes
Infusions : 2-3 rounds
( It is best to drink the infusion after 3 minutes, then refill your pot and watch the tea bloom further to avoid an over-brewed infusion. The whole blooming process can take up to 20 minutes. Sip away on your tea and enjoy watching the blooming tea bouquet. )
