The patriotic ci-tea-zens of The Tea Republic have come up with a special tea packaging that is perfect for gifting in conjunction with the upcoming Independence Day.

They are celebrating 57 years of independence with a special Merdeka Gift Box, their now signature pyramid tea gift box but clothed in the 4 core colours of the Malaysian flag — red, yellow, blue and white.

They make not only a healthy treat this Merdeka, but one that is also pretty on the eyes. They come in flavours ranging from traditional Earl Grey to exciting new renditions like South African Rooibois with caramel pieces.

Each Merdeka Gift Box is priced at RM45 and comes in 9 small pyramids of packaged tea. Each pyramid contains 1 silken diffuser. Celebrate the ci-tea-zen within whilst acknowledging your patriotic side with The Tea Republic.

Wanting to bring home a piece of the good experience I had, I purchased a gift box set of the Nine Signature Blends, which comprises white tea, green tea, oolong tea, black tea and theine-free tisanes..”

“The Tea Republic This modern teahouse is perched in a corner of Bangsar Shopping Centre’s second floor, and provides a temporary breather for when you don’t want to be seen in a mall. Teas are sourced by owner Sumita and playfully infused with unconventional ingredients; think caramel, mango and hibiscus in classic teas such as rooibos.”
